Some of the Best ☦️ Books Published 24'
Great Orthodox Reads (or Related) in Biblical Studies, Church History, Memoir, & More
I had the opportunity to read a lot of great books throughout the year and at times, interview the authors. Some of my favorites reads this year were The Ethics of Beauty by Dr. Timothy Patitsas (See interview here), Rediscovering the Goodness of Creation: A Manual for Recovering Gnostics by Robin Phillips and Further Up and Further In: Orthodox Conversations with C.S. Lewis on Scripture & Theology by Dr. Edith Humphrey (See interview here).
However, these books did not make this particular list, because this one is focusing on books specifically published in 2024. In the video below, I give a short review of each book and also choose the best one (a close call!) that I read in 2024 and give it ‘The Barrel Book of the Year Award.’
If you do not have time to watch a short 10 minute video, then you can see you the list of books below (you’ll have to watch the end of the video to see the winner*).

A Walk Through Acts: An Overview of the Acts of the Apostles in 26 Lessons by Arlyn Kantz *Bible Study, Curriculum

Be entirely His,
Kyle
A New Wisephone for the New Year?
Many people are starting the New Year off right with the Wisephone II! They no longer want to be addicted to social media and endless distractions and so are choosing a healthy smartphone that allows them to return to a life of prayer and being more present with others, especially their family. I use this as my own phone, and it has been a very, positive experience.

(This phone isn’t for everyone, but I believe it can become the phone for most people. I believe it can have a big impact on Christian households which can lead to spiritual and cultural renewal).
