One of the primary goals of Barrel Aged Faith is to explain the teachings and practices of the Ancient Faith which have been preserved in the church fathers and living presence of the Apostolic Churches (Catholic, Orthodox, Coptic, Armenian, Assyrian, etc). There is great confusion in the modern world about what we hold dear and so in these recent set videos, I respond to some of these misunderstandings. I cover why our Bibles are longer, why we pray for the comfort & purification of the deceased, why we ask for the intercession of the saints in heaven, why we all hold to the dormition/assumption of Mary and her ever-sanctity, and lastly, why the church government grounded in Petrine primacy is essential to the nature of the church.
