Why is a Catholic YouTube Star Running against Trump & DeSantis?

It is rare for me to comment on politics, BUT since a former Protestant Pastor (Anglican Priest) who became a Catholic Apologist & YouTube star just announced that he is running for president, I thought I would make a quick comment and video (see above).

Why he is running? It would only help build his presence online! But is that the only reason? I don’t think so. Marshall, whether you love him or hate him, is a serious guy, and I don’t think he is making this choice lightly. He has a big family (8 kids), and this decision will certainly have an impact on his wife and children. He either is giving up on Trump or this is Marshall’s path toward becoming his running mate (or DeSantis’). I personally think he is shooting for VP with either of them.

Whatever is the case, it does not outshine Mother’s Day Weekend when we honor our mothers who have a much bigger impact on the family and the future of this nation than the President of the United States. Let us pray for them and shower them with thanks!
